So that's how they're gonna do the next movie. *rubs her head* My poor, poor brain with all this wrapping.

In other news, James Marsters and Sean Bean were about due for an Italian gay drama, no?

Aragorn is 87, eh? Yow. I'd love me some of what's in that Middle Earth water. The director's cut of Two Towers will run three hours and forty-three minutes, with this notable addition from USAToday.com for mah girls:

Bean's ring-craving Boromir, slain at the end of 2001's The Fellowship of the Ring, is resurrected in a lengthy DVD flashback after brother Faramir (David Wenham) finds a boat bearing his body.

Not only is there more Bean to savor, but the twisted emotional ties that ensnare ruler Denethor (New Zealand actor John Noble, who officially joins the cast in King), his favorite son, Boromir, and scapegoat Faramir also are exposed.

Also, I got a good chuckle out of a Sun article about four men arrested for stealing copies of the fifth Harry Potter book. I mean, yes, theft, and yes, they did sell it to the tabloids, but it's books, kids, and therefore just that amusingly incongruous.

::coughs::

Note to self: sustained high-volume, high-pitched noises aren't good for the throat. Because eeeeeeeemore-bean-and-faramir-and-his-daddy-issues-and-denethor-must-DIE-buteeeeeeee! etc.

Meanwhile, [Eowyn's] unrequited passion for visiting warrior Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) is further inflamed when he tames an unruly horse by whispering sweet nothings in Elvish.

alskdfjlskdfjlsl;asfj. Though I'd always pictured them whispered into *Legolas's* ear.

It turns out Aragorn's line (and I could remember what it was if I actually *knew* all 57 of his names and titles--but I don't) lives a double lifespan. I can't remember which of the books I've read it in, or if I've only seen it in on-line references, but he's mentioned it in at least one interview that I've read a clip from.

In other news, the songvid's been popping images into my brain for the past two days, and I badly need FOTR, TTT, vidding software, and The Complete-Novice-but-Not-Quite-An-Idiot's Guide to Songvids. We need to get together to fill in the holes and laugh ourselves sick. We seriously need to get together. :-p Call me, we could do something tonight, after I'm through becoming employed. ;-D

Legolas, if the promotional stills are to be believed, will most assuredly get his fair share of Aragorn. This I choose to believe.

The LOTR-to-Disney songvid? That really seriously does need to come to fruition.

Yay for employment! And a theater, no less! You let me know when that works out advantageously for both of us, and you'll get sick of seeing me all over again. ;)

In an only somewhat unfortunate turn of events, I now have Fight Club as an mpeg. So that makes three movies. This marathon *will* happen. I'll call you tomorrow and we'll go lunch and frolic.

Soverycute! You pick your secret straight boyfriends well. ;)

And flashbacks! Family issues! Must read books as am obviously missing out with all the Sons of Gondor fic about. *will rot happily in her incestuous little hell place* It's from having gone to the same school with the same people for nine and a half years, man. No matter how far apart we may be by blood, that's a lot of history and probably could be considered, from a certain angle, evocative of... themes. Erm, right.

Haaaaaaldiiiiiir! He will know forever within in my heart. Long live the Queen of Lorien!
