aruanWhat the subject line says. Though I did catch (the last half of) Queer As Folk for the first time since the end of Season One. What happened here?! It's like I'm watching the whole thing through a backwards funhouse mirror!
-Michael the ballsy renegade!
-Brian the sappy romantic!
-Ted's a junkie and Blake's a rehab counselor!
-Everyone (but Brian! Dwhaa?!) is wearing more leather, and the hair has gotten longer all around, too (and may I just take this opportunity to add a *guh* on Justin's specifically.)
But some things...
True Faith! They played True Faith over the closing scene! This show has such the track record for having my taste in music. *love*
The crossword puzzle in today's paper was very satisfying - famous hotels and equally famous guests in Holiday Inns was the theme.
I went to the post office to mail a couple things and decided not to stress about the line, having brought along Chamber of Secrets. The girl behind me asked if it was the fifth, then the gentleman behind her got into the conversation, and we ended up talking for a good twenty minutes about the stories, the potential replacement as the cast grew before the books were filmed (I happen to adore all the kids in the roles, but especially Dan Radcliffe and Tom Felton, so I changed the subject rather quickly) and other miscellaneous odds & ends.
Where I seem to get this uneasiness about people I don't know, but I always feel compelled to post about having successful everyday encounters with Them. I'm perfectly sociable when out with my friends or on dates. Maybe because I seem to have so little in common with the people I do run into on regular basis - I'm constantly surprised at the myriad reasons why people are in college, the kind of people who are in college, and how they manage to stay in college - at the University of Florida anyway. *shrug* High consistency, low concurrence, and high concentration would seem to indicate it's just me, no beautiful and unique snowflakes theory aside.
