New meme. Sounded like fun.

1. What's your all-time OTP? (Slash or het, any fandom at all)

I've heard JoLa referred to as the gateway drug of popslash fandom, though I don't know about that so much anymore. Anyhow, it was Joey/Lance from the first, and while I had my mild infatuations with TrickyFish, JoeC, Bassez, TrickC, JuC, and TimberTone (uh, I may also not have been around for the great pairing kerfuffles, obviously) I've always come back to Joey/Lance. The fact that it's practically canon? Not a bad bonus.

2. Which pairing do you just not understand?

And this is with the occasional notable exception of Rhys fic, but no one else has made Joey/Chris work for me, and when they do work, it's only within the immediate context of her story and not a minute after. It's not a too straight thing, it's a fundamental conflict of personalities, I think. Too much wanting of attention and not enough patience in that combination.

3. Which pairings were you initially against, but found yourself warming toward? (real and fake, any fandom)

Spike/Xander. Harpy, and Harpy alone, made me believe in the Buffy/Angel (yeah, yeah, one of those, thanks). I was initially ambivalent about TrickyFish and Bassez (as far as its practical aspects), but we seem to have come to a mutual understanding, to say the least. *g*

4. Of the *NSYNC boys, which one can you legitimately see as being gay?

Gay? Lance. Bi? JC. Joey, despite being so increbily embodying of a myriad gay boy stereotypes, manages to be tragically straight in my head.

5. Lance and his new photo shoot: gay gay gay, must've been drunk off his ass and going for porn star cred, or his last-ditch effort to snare Joey/JC/Justin/Chris?

Honestly, I think it was a wholly justified (god, so ruined) act of self-love. It's not like he seems to have changed significantly because of the space ordeal, but if anything, it gave him that last bit of mental discipline and physical edge to do the things he wants in earnest. Good on him that he's got the confidence and resources to make the world his own. And really now, after all those years of point-at-the-catalog-page shopping (wonder if the models start coming with that when one becomes famous enough) and now you look like that, how irresistable would the idea of your own GQ/Better Homes/Playgirl spread sound?
