Bwahaha!

There is an Ignore button for the chat room. Lance is in there now, and he's exempt from its powers. The reason?

"Lance Bass cannot be ignored."

Okay, it made me laugh, though that may have had more to do with the Voice of Imminent Doom with which it was said in my head. Lord knows something good needed to come out of that train wreck.

*snerrrrk* Gads, I'm glad you posted this. I almost forgot to sign on to watch the zoo. *g* And so that I can play with Lance's voice of doom as well ;-) You *know* that's the sort of thing that he'd have on all his voicemail or chat systems as a default message...

I'm thinking somebody will be putting up a transcript soon enough...?

[identity profile] gjstruthseeker.livejournal.com 2003-07-02 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
The first twenty minutes were a free-for-all, then they moved it into moderated rooms, and I got kicked off about fifteen minutes after that. The whole thing was only supposed to go until nine, but I'm sure they'll be extending it, especially since Lance was the only one who showed.

Partial transcript:

He's doing this chat from the East Coast.

He's looking forward to going to space within the next few years. He'd be happy and available to speak about the experience so far.

As far as the new album, 2004, and they're "collaborating amongst [themselves]". Hee. *is twelve*

He's just reviewing scripts right now, not in the works for anything.

He's heard JC's album and thinks it's "great."

His favorite song off of Justified is Rock Your Body. The disco-lovin' fool that he is! *adores*

They got out of the cages at the end of PopOd by "magic." Cheeky boy.

They're considering a world tour, if/when.

But dude, I've got Marvin Gaye crooning at me. There's nothing but mellow soul in this room.

Hahahaha. Another thing I love is that they *would* choose Lance to do the chat... that way, when everything turns out to be disinformation, they can just blame it on, well, it was Lance. Lance, who would sooner pull a random number out of thin air than admit that he doesn't actually know. Bless his dear evil overlord-aspiring heart.

Oh! So I was talking to [livejournal.com profile] without_me and she says her flight arrives at 7:45AM on Friday morning. Do you think you'll be up to meeting her or would it be better if she hung out for a while before coming to wake us up? (That is, if we actually *sleep*... ;-) It's really up to you, since my sleep patterns will be so wonky that I probably won't really notice the difference. Lemme know and I'll pass it on :-)

[identity profile] gjstruthseeker.livejournal.com 2003-07-03 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Pssh. 7:45? I'd probably still be awake. ;) Really though, I'll try arranging it so that we'll be seeing it from the other side. I'd be cool with that, we can grab something to eat on the beach and then drive to Miami. And this way, we can meet the people at the hotel, decide what we want to do, and still have time to do said things if we choose before that night.

[identity profile] giddyupnow.livejournal.com 2003-07-03 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I figured we could do the whole breakfast thing and possibly hang out for a while before heading down. I'm thinking the hotel check-in time won't be until 3PM, though, so I don't know how that will figure into your plans with the drive down and how long that will take. But yes, plenty of time between that and checkin and the party and all that. Yay!

[identity profile] gjstruthseeker.livejournal.com 2003-07-03 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
You mean I gotta keep not one but *two* fangirls entertained for a *whole* seven hours? I think we'll manage somehow. ;)

I'll really try to things of interest around here as well as Miami, but please let me know if there's anything special you'd (or Alicia) would like to see or do. It's my backyard, so even the beaches are pretty much mundane by now, but you know about that. *g*

LANCE BASS CANNOT BE IGNORED

[identity profile] ramblinround.livejournal.com 2003-07-02 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
God. It's so true.

They're considering a world tour, if/when.

*snort*

And I'll believe that when I see it. Although, of course, I want it to happen. Very badly.

So very, very true. I like to consider myself a person of some dignity, but I fear so many things about that would be compromised if I was ever face-to-face with him.

The solution? You should come back Stateside. *nods sagely* Not that being able to jetset off to a new country for the weekend for the price of a few hours' train ride isn't marvelous, but commuting to likely venues is much easier if there isn't an ocean to swim. Or you know, a continent to fly across. *wishes she was in LA* But yo, hope springs eternal, right? Right on.

Dude, I'm just passing along the entertainment. They're responsible for it, and god knows we thank them heartily.

Happy to have made you laugh. Good to know my easy amusement is warranted on occasion.
