Access Hollywood showed a clip of Justin performing Miss You with Mick and the Stones at the Toronto music fest. *pets AH* There's a reason why I stuck out Extra for you. Plus the great new PotC commercials which tout its critical and box office success, because yes. Sometimes there is justice in the world.

Uh, Lance being interviewed by Sharon Osbourne is already a squee-worthy scenario for me (lovethemboth!) but then they tell me it involves him being in bed and/or showering, and that's just. Man. *takes a moment*

So many lovely JC rumors floating around today! Saturday Night Live! Performing at the VMAs! Also, many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] saturn92103 for the review of JC's showcase performance. He performed A.D.I.D.A.S.! And consequently brought down a house full of industry execs. Those lucky, lucky people. He also did Build My World and Some Girls..., by the way, so there goes the 'only two songs from those released rumor' to bunk, and good riddance, too. Boy's going to "kill" (as already said, and accurately so, by everyone and their mothers) and become a big, big star, and we'll all be cheering him on while quietly smirking our 'knew it all along' smirks.

Apparently, these are new. I got them from the JJB, but didn't think I'd be using/posting them in any way and therefore neglected to credit the person who took them. Apologies on that, just know that they're merely passing through here:

Reads: Joey Fatone is a Bitch! (And he'll pay big for this!) [how much do I love his teenie punctuation?]

Edited, with thanks to [livejournal.com profile] starrynyte99 for clearing up my confusion: Eden Roc Hotel, taken Challenge weekend. This was all provoked by the goober of all goobers, Lance, whose idea of a prank was to write "Joey lives here" on Joey's bedsheets and hang them from his balcony, which Joey then repaid by convincing housekeeping to rearrange and stack the furniture to one side of Lance's room. Then Lance wrote the above on Joey's door, so, naturally, Joey and Kelly took it upon themselves to make and pass out flyers about an "after party" in Lance's room. This bit of furniture stacking above, however, is Lance & company's doing, as you can see the writing peeking through behind the plant. Hee!

[ETA: Final word on Justin in Toronto: the whole thing will officially be summed up by the professionalism with which Justin carried himself, not just actually getting up there to do his set despite everything, but for his reaction to a response that was beyond rude, totally unwarranted, and disrespectful to him and the people who came to enjoy his performance. From [livejournal.com profile] lain7: "I'm here for the same reason you are: to see the motherfuckin' Stones. This'll be over before you know it." and CBC News: "It's natural. If I came to see AC/DC, I wouldn't want to see me either," Timberlake said after his performance. (He got satisfaction later when he joined the Rolling Stones on stage for the 1978 classic Miss You. Jagger and Timberlake strutted across the stage as the crowd roared its approval.) Boy can be such a fucking class act in the face of real shit, when what they dished out at this event really merited his drummer's response. My hat's off to him as well as the host, Mike Bullard, whom I've never seen but seriously joins the rank of my boyfriends here and now.]

ahhh! from what I heard, Lance wrote "Joey lives here" on the bedsheets and hung them from his balcony, so Joey paid him back by convincing the housekeeping to move all Lance's furniture in his room to one side of the room and stack it ontop of each other.

Then, Lance wrote on Joey's door, so Joey and Kelly passed out flyers about an "after party" in Lance's room at 3 AM.

Those boys are so goofy sometimes. Gotta love them.

Thank you for clearing that up. The information was all over the place, and not a terrible lot of it made sense when I attempted to translate it from teenie!speak. Edited the entry.

Pop stars and their antics, man. These kids'll never be Guns 'N Roses at this rate! *g*

Gotta love them.

I do! So very much. :)

Woohoo! Thank you kindly, I was wondering what that looked like. Also, and I meant to comment about this before, but that icon is marvelous. The look on his face! If Lance Bass ruled the world, I have a feeling the worst we'd have to look forward to is a little twang in our National Anthem, plus better funding for the space program, and a national holiday on Al Green's birthday. *g*

Thank you! They're so dorktastic, I love it.

Also? That icon? Mmm. I don't want to lick that picture any less no matter how many times I see it. Weconning is the American way, yo. :)

I felt really bad for Justin at the way he was treated. He came out on his day off to support this city, and they repay him by chucking bottles at him. So mature. It doesn't matter if you went to the concert to see The Stones. He was on for all of 15 minutes. Get up and go to the john, and you'd have missed him.

But he has my respect for handling it all with such grace.

Finished the thought up there, but yeah, the water bottles, the booing, all of it for a charity event which he, an artist who sold out the venue he was supposed to perform at in Vancouver not a month ago, like you said, took his own time off to do for free. But yeah, a whole lotta respect. It's moments like this that make me say 'When I grow up, I wanna be like Justin' just a bit - he's learned to field the crap questions and critics like a pro over the years, and instead of being at all bitter (at least publically) he remains classy about it all. I don't know how I would've responded, but it wouldn't have been with nearly as much grace.
