Have you hugged your best friend today?

I think it took us a half hour, three tries, and at least four hugs before I finally left Miranda's at three a.m. We hadn't seen each other in about five days, and it showed. We sat for Starbucks coffee, made and brainstormed yet more icons, and sang Tango Maureen and Rent for which we'll have to bribe RJ to let us put his recording equipment to good use once we're all back up at school.

Good times, man. We're not caught up, but that's what tomorrow is for. Shopping and free movies! What more could a girl want.

Also, GIP, because she's just that fantastic and loves me besides. It's officially my 'hope springs eternal' icon, should I need something to cling to. It's also one of the most beautiful things absolutely ever in all the world. Like I said, no contest as to who earns her cookies around here.

The solidarity in that picture, that they're in this thing together, for better or worse and everything that's to come. Chris' no-nonsense stance, Justin's solemnly bowed head, the way Joey's practically holding Lance up - it's this beautiful moment of certainty in the middle of their chaos and big dreams.
Ok, wow Jules. Way to make me all teary eyed so late at night/early in the morning. :)

If you do find the bigger picture, could you share? I'd love to have it.

Aaw! *hugs* It did me in the first time I saw it, too.

Absolutely. I tried looking for it last night but no cigar. I'll get it from Miranda at some point and post it above.

Thanks to you and Miranda for the picture. I just watched Driven: NSYNC and this is the perfect ending. :)

Driven! I've seen it, like, 4507239462396432 times (okay, maybe just five or six) but I squee every time it's on, usually tape it, and coerce a new person to watch it with me. Papa Fatone makes me cry every.damn.time. Fighting for their name and Lance! And it all ends happily! I do love it so.

I haven't seen it in forever and I just totally wanted to cry at the end. It truly is one of the best pieces on them.
