We had another guiltless parting with money day. Necessary items though! Check this: I bought eight shirts and a pair of jeans at Burdines for $125. I got a pair of Levi's corduroys at Ross for $7.99. This, I felt, allowed me to splurge on the Gap jeans that make my legs look a mile long, the wireless internet card and optical tracking mouse (for the record, my old trackball one is all but resting in peace), and praise be! 120 gig external hard drive has been achieved and they're liars and fools all, because *both* my computers, despite being two years old, have USB 2.0 ports. He is shiny and fast and glorious in all ways. He already feels like family, a godchild perhaps. Names will be pondered.
Dude, that Al Roker interview on Conan? That is le bon crack. Everyone would be well-advised to TiVo it next week.
In other news, Lance wins both Biggest and Most Handsome Dork for the third year in a row, JC remains the most talented, Justin has amounts of class most people shouldn't even bother aspiring to, Joey is most probably in the running for best daddy, and Chris couldn't care less what I say anyway, but I think he's snarky cool.
(Mostly Rhetorical) Question of the Day:
Why do we slash the ones we love? It seems so counterproductive. I mean, I'm not the Mary Sue-ing kind, but that just somehow makes more sense than what we do instead. Lord knows I wouldn't give them angst before making them happy. *g*
And now, packing! I am a barrel and a half all by me onesie, don't you know.
