I took a walk with
xalxuffasch, had a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki sandwich from Subway (excellent, by the way) at the Union, talked to an advisor in the Journalism department who assured me that not only was I more than on-track, she could probably hook me up with someone who'll test my Hungarian proficiency so they'll waive the foreign language requirement. Jon and I watched the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie over lunch, and that, too, went a long way to cheering me up. I am such a child of the eighties/early 90s.
Sigh. So yeah, not going to New York. I would've still done it if JC were performing, but without any guarantee I'd get into the club and no performances I really can't live without seeing, I'm better off saving my money for the Solo!Club!Tour! or a trip out west. *hugs

As far as the choreography meme, my unholy love lies with the arms/knees combination during the second chorus of Pop. As many times as I've seen it, it's never failed to elicit even a little squee of joy.
Tonight, I've declared that, with Miranda by my side, there will be copious amounts of footage-watching in this neighborhood. If anyone has any recs, do drop them by below.
Oh! And a mostly belated but no less heartfelt happy birthday to one of the sweetest women I've ever met,
amuse139. Hope this year brings you everything you so richly deserve, hon.
