Fuck all the rest of it.

Justin walked away on top. Classiest punk ever.

There'd better be eloquent people at the Roseland Ballroom tonight, is all I have to say.

My hat's off to him.

i'm happy he won all those awards, but i was really hoping Johnny Cash would win that one award. it was really great of Justin to say what he said about that, though. really cool of him. i love that boy ^_^.

See, my beef there is why can't we recognize artists in their prime? Why wait until the last dregs of their career before we say, good job, yo? I personally didn't care for his remake even a little bit, and have always felt almost insulted on behalf of the artist "honored".

::shrugs:: i guess that's just the way it goes. i loved his remake, though, because while the guy who wrote it may have had some experience with what he was writing about, it wasn't nearly as close to how much of it Johnny Cash had had and you could tell when you heard him singing it that he felt it in his bones. by no means am i unhappy that Justin won that award, but i would have been just as happy if Johnny Cash had won because they both deserved it. and plus it would have been cool to see Johnny Cash winning a VMA ^_^.

Yep... that boy has style and class. I know [livejournal.com profile] trixiesfic is going to the Roseland Ballroom tonight, so I expect a good review 'round 3 am.

Link it if she does, would you? She's the only person that I've heard is going, and I don't want to miss the report. :-)

Sure, I will. You know, you're right, I haven't seen too many other people planning to go.

Yeah, I knew Christine was going, and good thing, too. Everyone's been saying how they're done spending money, etc. But seriously, if I had another month to my name, damn first week classes, I would've been there all the way from Florida. I hope he *kills*.

It sounds like you're just getting into the swing of things at school. I always hated that first week.

:::shares the journalism love:::

I can't believe Christine went, well, I can. I hope she has a great time and writes a good review. I'm glad that she did, she really needed to get out of the apartment. If I could have had a reason to go back to NY, I would have. Damn not being independenly wealthy. Hee.

The reviews are in
