"I'm just putting my life back together"

…When a pale but calm Timberlake made a brief statement, Bass stood behind him with Justin's mother, Lynn Harless, and his publicist. As the "unidentified man" in the pictures in every magazine from US and People to Forbes, many had no idea who Bass was. The 24 year-old junior PR executive has avoided the spotlight since then, declining interviews, including this one.

I ask Timberlake what was going through his mind as he faced down the media that day. He glances down at his hands before giving me a level look. "I was really fucking pissed off," he says, "and really fucking relieved."

A really cool idea. A cool little alternate reality just a couple degrees off from our own that tells the coming-out story of Justin through the people around him. Someone famous said something vaguely memorable about the company you keep, no?

I'm really making an effort to rec fandomwide this month. One new author for every day. It's expanding my own horizons, too - I tend to get bogged down in rereading stuff I really like and not venturing out too much. But yay for branching out!

I usually only read JuC stories. I have this new fascination with Lambs which is kind of scary. I was just going to make a post on my journal to find some new stories to read. I haven't been able to go to work cause I just had surgery on my foot. So finding new things to read is a plus with me.
