"Wee little boy." Can't go an event without mentioning his momma. Socute! And the older guy! What a great idea! "Oh my god, she would love to, but we only had the one ticket, hey, Anna!" Singing along to Take It From Here! Who doesn't love a fanboy?

Also, it's not only Justin's timing, which is fantastic, but also the faces he makes. He's this preternaturally dichotomous pretty/handsome thing, and then he contorts his face to the point where he's just plain strange. Naturally, I was all about it.

I was waiting to see if he would introduce himself when it came time for the musical portion of the evening. Like, "Ladies and gentlemen, Justin Timberlake!" on the main stage and then hop/skip/jumping over to the band and getting his groove on. Heh. However, I liked what the guy did with it. Jimmy Fallon's enthusiasm later was darling, too. And mmm, sexy sexy beatboxing. Yeah, the whole vocal percussion thing? Will never get old.

"Stick around, I'm Justin Timberlake, I'll be here all night." Happily, not in that same awful crushed velvet jacket.

The Punk'd skit! He had Ashton down, man. "I'm Ashton Kutcher! I'm awesome!" It's a wonder he didn't pull something important at some point during that. The lawyer with the stenciled trucker hat! The skits were all ingenious. And his slightly cracked "I love Justin Timberlake!" at the end! Revenge is a dish best served funny and definitely not tongue-in-cheek. Boy got his with style, yo.

"Aaw, the ham is sick?" and "For reals, y'all." Jimmy's Nick Lachey was spot-on. Such an unfortunate situation. But, pretty hair-tossing, nail-examining, self-righteously ditzy Justin! Am I weird for thinking he looked better as Robin Gibb though?

"Bring it on in to Omeletteville!" With the eyebrows! That boy is such a class act - he would be just that hardcore about whatever his job was, too, even a sucky gig like that. Any cheerleading squad would be lucky to have him for a carwash.

Sully and Denise! Justin looked so, so eerily (and a little obscenely) like an overgrown version of himself from the MMC internet boyfriend skit. His shoulders and arms are much too muscled for that shirt. But, chocolate milk! The lighter! His "cherubic good looks"! "I was only minorly diddled. Only minorly." Died, I really did.

Now, I adore Sharon Osbourne, but that impersonation was spot-on, too. Then Justin's pained Michael Bolton face! Gigs and Wigs! Lip-synching (or not) to How Am I Supposed To Live Without You and my first thought was, wonder who he's dedicating that to? Mmm, delicious possibilities.

Also, is this still not when I remind Justin that he has in fact sung with Kermit the Frog? Okay. Choosing Rainbow Connection on National Coming Out Day was a nice touch though, intentional or not.

I may have really liked the leprechaun skit shirt. Red does it for me in a big way, and the design, too. Mmm. I took my bright fashion spots in this show where I got them.

Getting to see the club version of Cry Me A River was such a treat. Such a treat. He killed, yo. Slap your momma good indeed.

So none of the boys crashed the party which is sad, but we got Justin singing to Britney's I'm A Slave 4 U and oogobs of his own good music as well as all the grinny, silly!Justin it'll take to keep us in good supply for a whole year. I can only rest assured that somewhere in the world, they were all properly celebrating, too.

My favorite part by far though was Justin as Robin Gibb. Loved the dancing, loved the hair, loved the suit, but for me, this show is all about the moments when the performers/guests crack up. After that much rehearsal, even the best jokes start becoming a groanfest, but performing before an audience revitalizes them in a really cool way and it's all funny again. Jimmy really was just that fantastic, too. But then Justin pulled it together and stayed with it and the harmonizing and yeah. Loved it.

That's pretty much my overall verdict. Justin looked amazing, happy and healthy and with hair. He was sharp, he was good, he had fun. Baby boy done did all kinds of people proud and probably made more than a few fall in love.

AndImightotallyseetheJustin/Jimmy. Mmm, backstage shenanigans indeed.

Am I the only one who's not going to post that paragraph from the YM article because I never doubted previous testaments on both JC and Justin's behalves to the same effect? Okay then.

*g* I'm just really baffled about all the people posting it as some kind of touting reassurance to themselves that all is right in the world of Justin and JC. I mean, come on now, if there are two boys in all the world, right?
