I am the shopping maven. $42 jeans for $10, and I finally have a pair with that already worn-in front and stonewashed thighs effect going for it. $36 skirt for $17 to go with my fabulous new black knee-high boots, $10 off thank you. $20 for that $44 Gap shirt I wanted the white one of as well. And the most wonderful scarf from Abercrombie & Fitch, decidedly not on sale, and now I remember why I avert my eyes when walking past their window displays.
I ranted righteously about the sour and decidedly undeserved rep pop music gets. I even wrote fic! My day had redeeming qualities! Even if none of it will count at 4 o'clock tomorrow, at which point I am to have designed an advertisement with one hundred words of ad copy and a press release for the Nike Air Storm Pegasus.
It's 31 degrees in New York, feels like 19. The daytime high was about 44. *hugs her chic new wool-trimmed coat and makes a note of long underwear and gloves for the rest of her shopping excursion*
