B. A shout-it-to-the-highest-heavens B in LIT4930.

I am the luckiest slacker that ever did live.

Of course, this on some level infuriates me, as there's no good reason for any of the rest of my grades either, yet obviously they're insisting that I be rewarded for this past semester, which was spent reading slash and mostly in my pyjamas.

However, this also means that I am still a university student on full scholarship. Let the state-funded good times roll, baby.

ETA: Jon rocks my socks. There's no reason why he should've put up with half of the colorful insanity I unloaded on him tonight. However, as per my New Year's resolution to whine less, it was more sailor than Sailor Scout in nature. Heh. If you want clever puns, catch me tomorrow but preferably before the stepfamily dinner, otherwise I'll probably just be sloshed and caustic.

Remember! Delivery boys = good, harbingers = bad. Long live older people fetishes, and leaving the door of creativity open for others who have nothing more interesting to discuss than the logistics of how much you're getting usually means a good time for all.

I thought about how much of a story I can justifiably quote before it becomes too much or plagiaristic even with the byline, especially since her stuff's been hijacked for so long, but I just. It.

Yeah.

"Oh," JC said, and put his hand on Lance's cheek. He leaned down and kissed him, slowly, one hand smearing blood along Lance's cheek and in his hair. When he lifted his head, his lips were wet with blood.

"I can drive you to the hospital," Chris said, and JC blinked at him as though he'd forgotten he was there. "you weren't supposed to—" Chris said weakly.

"Go," JC said, absently, and turned back to Lance, pulling his jacket closed and buttoning it, smoothing the lapels. He slid his fingers down Lance's arm to twine their hands together, leaning over him. Lance's eyelashes fluttered slightly, and JC smiled, and bent down, kissed his cheek. "We're almost packed," he said,...

since it was on my 100 Facts thing that I did not like eating for the sake of sustenance.

I ate goooood tonight. Fried dolphin (the fish, you rabid activists, not the mammal), squid antipasta, angelhair with red crawfish sauce, fresh mussels on the half-shell and lobster tail with perfect Tiramisu and chocolate-coconut macaroons for dessert. And that's just the stuff I like! Plus free-flowing champagne so everyone was kept jovial between courses.

Yeah, it was the stepfamily, but all everyone seemed to do the entire night was want to talk about college and keep smiling through the part where no, I did not in fact have a boyfriend yet, and tell me how good I looked. All in all, I'd do it again.

Mmm.
