B. A shout-it-to-the-highest-heavens B in LIT4930.

I am the luckiest slacker that ever did live.

Of course, this on some level infuriates me, as there's no good reason for any of the rest of my grades either, yet obviously they're insisting that I be rewarded for this past semester, which was spent reading slash and mostly in my pyjamas.

However, this also means that I am still a university student on full scholarship. Let the state-funded good times roll, baby.

ETA: Jon rocks my socks. There's no reason why he should've put up with half of the colorful insanity I unloaded on him tonight. However, as per my New Year's resolution to whine less, it was more sailor than Sailor Scout in nature. Heh. If you want clever puns, catch me tomorrow but preferably before the stepfamily dinner, otherwise I'll probably just be sloshed and caustic.

Remember! Delivery boys = good, harbingers = bad. Long live older people fetishes, and leaving the door of creativity open for others who have nothing more interesting to discuss than the logistics of how much you're getting usually means a good time for all.

Congrats on your B. I did just about as lousy as I expected to. Unfortunately the mega study sessions for my finals didn't quite help as much as I hoped in 2 of my classes. Buuuut... if I'm correct about what my GPA was before this semester, and my math-genius boyfriend is correct in his calculations, I'm still on full scholarship, thank heavens.

yay for us and FL bright futures! :) I only have to see my transcript when it comes back online to confirm that I still have it. *crosses fingers*

Whee for the gold star!

*crosses fingers for you*

I made out with three Bs and an A. There's no reason why I should've done that badly (or well, as it were), except for the part about not trying.

What sucks is when you really want to try, and you finally attempt to try, but you have no passion for the trying... so the results are just poor. I think that's what happened to me. Next semester, I'm aiming for at least 2 or 3 A's out of my four classes. My RTV classes should go well, but Economics - I'm not so sure about!

Good luck and good grades to both of us in the coming year!

Hey, I'm taking Economics too! Maybe we can make conscientious efforts together.

And yeah, really gonna try and get my act together for next semester, like extracurriculars and actually reading my books. Here's to us!

Hey, awesome! I'm taking 2023... which one are you taking?

I also resolve to do extracurriculurs and read books next semester. It'd be nice to actually read books *other* than schoolbooks. After I started college, my ability to read non-school books became nearly nonexistent.

I'm not sure, and ISIS is down, but I want to say 2018. Entirely possible that I'm making that up though.

Heh. Reading actual books. Last actual book I read was Prisoner of Azkaban and am past the midway point of Goblet of Fire, but really, my extracurricular reading is pretty confined to the stuff I read online. Some of it is damn near novel-length, and there's often plot - does that count?
