There's something utterly charming about having a young, fresh out of Med school gynecologist. They feel the need to sit down with you and ask all the questions, listen intently to everything you say, and explain everything they say in exactly the detail they memorized from their books.

On that note, caffeine is bad for breast tissue! Not that this is a total surprise, but honestly. Apparently, I eat too much chocolate and drink too much coffee besides. News like that shouldn't be given concurrently. So naturally, I had an iced cappucino and split a chocolate cookie sandwich over lunch as a final hurrah before conceding to moderation.

Nova High School is becoming a gulag run by Fascist-Commie wankers, and you wouldn't think that's possible since the two don't mix well but my friends, they've found a way to engineer the most insidious aspects of both and called it NHS administration. I hope they realize this just means we're going to bypass them entirely the next time we come calling. So happy we got out of there when we did.

To make up for our foiled attempts to see Iggy, we headed to Einstein's and had a delighful lunch. After recounting my extended LOTR DVD experience at Jon's yesterday (you only think the audio file of Viggo telling the boat story is that funny, and that's entirely because you haven't seen the video footage of it), we finally admitted to ourselves that we needed it and decided to split the guilt by going "halfsies" on it at Circuit City. We'll share custody, you know, alternating weekends and holidays. Or you know, just mass into a dark room together occasionally and laugh until our sides nearly split and tears roll down our cheeks, because they are utterly adorable and pricelessly dorky.

We ran some errands, Batten's for fresh strawberries (a word that, apparently, we're seriously missing out on not having heard Sean Bean say) and a brief stop at the infamous Delaware Chicken farm. Back at her place, we helped make the salad after tearing ourselves away from my computer and then overindulged in her mom's outrageous Tollhouse cookies.

Sounds like a Friday well-spent to me.
