How much do I love him in this moment right here? Mario Lopez ambushed him with a clip of his Showstoppers days on the finale episode of America's Most Talented Kid and he turned the loveliest shades of red before countering with his own drug-up copy of Mario doing some sort of dance recital thing of his own. Inches apart and Lance's face was solemn and grave. He was beautiful, staggeringly beautiful. Justin couldn't breathe. The air was thick and wet, his lungs were burning because he couldn't breathe, Lance was so fucking beautiful.
"I love you," he said as Lance said "We have to talk."
Like I mentioned about Synchronik writing through Joey's perspective, I'm always fascinated to read Lance from another's point of view. Our own actions may make sense to us or an omniscient narrator, but seeing them through someone else's eyes is always different. This is such a heartbreaking story because yeah, Justin would be that earnest and yeah, Lance wouldn't necessarily realize the consequences of his actions and it's wonderful in ways I'm not articulating well here.
