Well, I coughed this morning and found right out. Ow. Exercise good, but definitely looking to get back into it to the point where I don't have to walk around feeling like a big bruise the next day.
Dude, CNN talked about how Isabel is going to "suck up" all our weather, but this is fantastic! Next to no humidity, not a cloud in our blue, blue sky, about 70 degrees outside temperature. I was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and didn't even come close to breaking a sweat walking to/from class.
Journalism lab... is still journalism lab. The guy doesn't like my perfectly relevant ideas, seeming to prefer stories on the Study Abroad Fair, the news value of which, as an event that has gone on for years, is in the negatives as far as I'm concerned. Whatever. I intend to do well in the lecture portion and pull up the grades with style quizzes and the occasional extra credit article. I'm going to get one of these feature pieces he gave me a D- on published and then tell him to shove his credentials up his ass. That's the plan.
The additional bitterness from having to get up for this at 6:45 in the morning, resulting in decidedly not!optimal!Jules? Doesn't help.
Anyhow, done with that. All!girl!Sync is somewhat surprisingly progressing well. Statistics lab is cancelled due to the test, and hallelujah for small favors. Tonight will be my choice of aerobics classes and with any luck, some around-town meandering with Miranda.
Things I'm not thinking about: JC's SNL appearance being changed to TBA. That I could fly to New York for $140.
Things I am clinging to: Lance's unbelieveable goober!hotness and the undimished sexiness of foreign languages.
Because the one on sanity is always a tenuous grip.
[ETA: Forgot a few songs off my Top Twenty, though I wouldn't change any of the ones that made the list. Adding The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony as well as Joydrop's Swan Song to the selections, as my world is a better place because of them, and I'd be remiss in not giving proper due.]
Ha! ( The meme that foiled my perfectly well-progressing plans for a morning brood. )
Rawr, baby.
