Home again.

JC kept me good company on the road, but then, he's been keeping me good company all week. I fear the clips will be all I'll listen to for the next, oh, forever.

Moderation can bite me.

Anyway, said a sad goodbye to Schiz but not before we hatched nefarious plots to meet again in, oh, a week to, what else, see JC in Boston and New York. We've got the first covered, looking for tickets for the second. Had a most excellent flight, Pirates as the movie and the best plane food ever, a bit of a nap and a lovely chat with Mason.

In my abscence, it seems that La Timberlake scored five Grammy nods, Chris is a politically-active Democrat who wears black leather to the conventions, JC's changed up his costuming (for Denver at least, and can I just take a moment to swoon over those pics? The burberry, too, while we're at it), Joey is wearing Lance's trinkets (adore the boyfriend, but I'm OTP to the core, yo) and the fandom's had no fewer than three major kerfuffles. Seems everyone's had an exciting week. *g*

Now I have a really stupid (or is that stupefying) amount of work to do before tomorrow is over - two finals, two papers, two articles. And now I sound like a Denny's breakfast special. ;)

Glad to see everyone's enjoying the clips, which I myself about cried with excitement over when listening to them for the first time. I'm so happy they came out as amazing as they did, all things considered, and those who won't get a chance to see him live will get to at least experience the madness in some way. To all the new people, hello. *waves* I never friendslock anything, but it wasn't my server and we had bandwidth concerns. However, if you'd like the clips and haven't been able to download them, let me know and we'll make it happen.

Sidebar: Was there any coverage of the Luck of the Paw event on any of the entertainment news shows?

Anyhow. Aaw, my first threaded comments post! [/dork] Seriously, thanks to everyone who's swung by to gush - I've loved reading the comments on the clips and am so very glad I had the fortune and generous friends to make it all happen.

I hear something new on the tracks every time I listen. We could barely hear his grunting and orgasm scales at the show, but they're delightfully audible here. Next time though, I need to get close enough so you can hear what [livejournal.com profile] coolwhipdiva was talking about - he's really vocal even when he doesn't have a microphone in hand.

I got so much sparkly swag in the mail today! First, my calendars I'd won off eBay a thousand years ago (and can I just reiterate how All About the JoLa Euro!Sync was? Yow.) as well as [livejournal.com profile] icebun's lovely footage stash. Making of Pop! MMC! The Rolling Stone interview and much more. Thank you, darlin'!

And then I get home and find a voicemail waiting for me - they'd apparently released more tickets for the New York club show and Schiz was all over it, so now it truly is all over but the shouting. Which will happen, oh yes. Seriously, at this point I'm practically expecting to open my door and find them sitting on the stoop.

So I've been walking around with Build My World in my head all day. I've expressed just what that song does to me. So in the middle of taking my Advertising final in the Journalism office, I started sniffling and wiping my eyes, making the receptionist look up to ask if the test was that bad. Heh. I really could not have gone two months without hearing these songs again, so yay that none of us have to!

Aaand it's back to work with me. PoliSci prof gave me an extension on my papers until midnight, the gracious gent, so let's not disappoint.
