I've been trying to get in on the Florida radio station contests to JC's private shows, which has been hell because Gainesville is so ass-backwards and in the boonies, we get exactly none of the four stations doing the shows. *sigh* If anyone has connections, now is the time to name your terms for a ticket to even one them.

Although, to be honest with you, I don't know how full of a set it's going to be, one, and two, the Sessions performance of Some Girls weirded me out a bit. That song needs choreography and writhing girls and the bells and whistles of a production, as opposed to a performance. The ballads will be beautiful, no question, but I wonder what he'll do with a song like A.D.I.D.A.S.. Just a thought.

In other news, I'm in today's issue of The Alligator! A Page Five picture of our editorial board meeting from Friday, aka "The Bernie Mac Luau," when the president of the university stopped in to chat. I'll scan it later tonight, and though it's black and white and grainy, I'm easily distinguishable by the shock of Burberry in my lap. *g*

The boy came by after our history class. He didn't run screaming from my writer's piles and recognized the bobblehead on my desk as Lance. Yeah, we likes him.

Speaking of the GGs, big congrats to all the LotR folk. They deserve all the accolades they've gotten and more.
