Stop me if you've heard this before.
Jan. 27th, 2004 12:07 pm*sigh* So of course I get my LJ account expiration notification on the same day as my credit card bills and making out a $100 check to Housing for next semester, leaving me with exactly $4.07 in my bank account. Insult to injury isn't funny, yo.
You don't know what I would give for a solid three hours where I could be left alone, well-fed and rested, just to write. I've got an essay on short-run television, JC's performance analysis, a comprehensive reaction piece on the clips so far, and three fics I desperately want to be working on. And yet. Stupid research assignments.
( Entertainment news. )
Not that I'm taking this to heart, but April? Motherfucking April? He started mentioning the album before that time last year! I've had to hem and haw and make no promises about Feb. 24 to those who've asked, but April? *sits down and concentrates on breathing* Rumors, lalala, nothing to be taken seriously, promo going on as I type, etc. *is better now* [ETA: UK release date. Okay then. Thanks to everyone who didn't let their sources finish a sentence or read a press release all the way through for the morning heartburn.]
I saved my brother's life in my dream last night pretty much by offering my own in exchange. Whoa. I know the rugrat and I have started to have better relations since we've grown up some, but wow. That was pretty cool of me.
Also, my side of the suite has officially begun to stink like the roomie's. It's the fifth fucking week of the semester, why is there still a cat in my house?
It would seem I've been embarrassingly remiss in birthday greetings, but actually it's because most of the month of December is posted as unfinished private entries. So, as a resolution, I'll jump back on the wagon for
mac_girl. Amy did me a big one at CFTC last year for which I'll never be able to thank her enough because, whoo, what a night, but besides that, she and
runerinrun are two of the sassiest, savviest, and coolest customers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Hope it was a good one, Amy.
