Looks like the boy well and truly Halloweened himself out this year: a Something About Mary homage, an unfortunate railroad worker, and just last night, a kilt-wearing, threesome-participating, spiky-haired punk. On a runway, no less! People should live their lives with half as much enthusiasm.
The new JC pictures? *swoon* I'm thinking flogging would be an appropriate punishment to every last person responsible for Allover Press' watermarking all over his beautiful face. The first single off his "kick-ass record" (-BT) will be leaked to Y-100! And video (shot by Martin Weisz, the same director who did Korn's Make Me Bad, which rocks beyond the telling) on the 7th! Those Access Hollywood clips were kinda very hot, so, yes, looking forward.
Justin will be doing more sports correspondence, this time for ABC, as well as writing music for their Can't Get Enough (which sounds like a sequel to I'm Lovin It). He will also take part in this:
Timbaland plans to revisit the USA For Africa charity project 'We Are the World' to raise funds for worldwide HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention programs. Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott will co-write the new version, which will be titled 'The World Is Ours.' Like the original, which involved an all-star roster of more than 40 vocalists, a cast of contemporary artists is being recruited for the project.
Also, I just wanted to see this quote here, because how fucking cool?
GQ: Justin Timberlake will stand the test of time?
Michael Stipe: Yeah, well, "Cry Me A River" is a phenomenal song.
I'm loving (heh, no pun intended - he's slowly but surely corrupting the vernacular) all the well-deserved good press he's getting for the SNL appearance, apparently being courted by Hollywood and getting Cheers from TV Guide. Now if everyone could stop being quite so snide about his "actually" having talent, that would be ever more fun.
On that note, same to almost every single person who's touched upon the Plug It In topic about JC, who also gets kudos for best t-shirt at the RMA press junket. And that "Art!" picture from the radio station appearance! No man should be as singularly cute.
Lance will co-host the AMA red carpet party, also for ABC, on the 16th. He, along with Joey, will be lending his voice to the Disney cartoon Kim Possible. In its own way, I live for the JoLa sidekickery.
Even Chris came out of the woodwork for two seconds, and KC from KC and the Sunshine Band no less. Hee. Those kids are so very past their time, yet that didn't stop a damp Rockefeller Plaza full of us from grooving to the beat.
Alas, I can't swing the $100 ticket price for floor seats at Jingle Ball, but
plum_evil and I will be making do with a good pair of binoculars and $50 seats. Plus,
go4it has already cast her lot, too! Come on, you know you want to frolic in South Florida during the dead of winter!
So many pretty new pictures. Needing at least three new icons, "needing" being a very relative term.
Roommate says we won the game against Georgia 16-13 by a field goal in the last 30 seconds. Whoot! Go Gators!
Mmm, rice krispies treat for breakfast. Sometimes, I'm really glad my mother doesn't have to see half the things I do in my daily comings and goings.

Date: November 2nd, 2003 05:53 pm (UTC)by the way, i know you said you wouldn't be posting any stories in there because you have a circle of peolple you prefer to keep that sort of thing in, but if you ever want to post something that's gone through beta-ing you're comfy with it, you can post it in there (::hopes::). i'm sure it'll be recieved well, you're awesome at writing from what i've read of your little things you've posted in your own journal. i still totally understand if you don't want to, but i'm just putting it out there for my own little selfish reasons. ^_^
thank you agian for telling me where to find those pictures ^_^. man, it certainly is becoming more and more evident that Lance can be is quite the twisted little fucker. yet somehow he manages to look good through all of it. ::shrug:: =D
