In grand tradition, and because The House On Haunted Hill was way too camp to be scary, The Animatrix once again put me to sleep. Despite these dorm beds decidedly not being big enough for two and the fact that I fell asleep inadvertently hogging all the covers, Jon didn't kick me out. Don't let him fool you, the boy is a gentleman at the core.

Staying was somewhat selfish on my part since I really could've managed a flight of stairs - while I don't miss the complications, it really is quite nice to just sleep with someone. I did finally amble down around ten and spent the day being absurdly productive.

Aah, nothing like a successful shopping expedition. Among my happiest finds:

-a DKNY fleece jacket with the New York skyline in the logo
-gingerbread spice body lotion
-red suede track pants with pink snowflakes
-the Longshot DVD for $5.88

And my favorite: a short-sleeved black baby tee emblazored with the word Celebrity in funky, sparkly pink text. *loves on it some more*

Schiz and I were almost going to Mexico earlier tonight, but we'll wait for passports and able-bodied male accompaniment (which, unless you're famous of course, isn't to be had in California on short notice. Go figure.)

Chris' shirt from last night! Education! The next best thing to a record deal. And he was wearing Joey's jacket! Fancy that.

The 2003 American Music Awards:

JC looks like he's going to come take his rightful place as King of my family's newly-acquired House That Porn Built any minute now. Oh, honey, no. Just, no. I don't object to the white, but buy clothes that fit. You can afford it. No, really. I'll hear no arguments. Have Lance hook you up with his new buddy Thom's phone number. Everyone could use a little Carson Kressley in their life.

Lance, on the other hand, looks downright delicious. Beautiful boy just getting better with each day, and standing next to Britney - well, that's a whole world of pretty right there. I missed the preshow so please let there be mpegs galore, but I noticed as he was announcing that when he turned a certain way, you could see hints of the man he's growing into. Having been around long enough for it, I find watching people my age change with time absolutely fascinating.

I liked Pink's performance of Trouble. As for Brit, mostly I just watched her dance which is entrancing as ever.

Off to buy my ticket to LA. *squee!*

*g* I'm pretty amused myself. You'll get a photographic walking tour featuring the marionettes when Schiz comes to visit in January, so you'll see just how much I'm not exaggerating.
