Got the PoliSci essay done, shall not dwell on what I didn't. It's been the kind of insane day that comes before trips, deadlines, and other such sanity-consuming things. Miranda left this afternoon - I'm in town until tomorrow, possibly Thursday if I want to push it. [insert familial angst here] And this time, I live about an hour's drive from everything I know and any of the sane people in my life.

Anyway. For now, it's me, a blissfully clean and empty suite, and Behind the Music: Spice Girls here. Soon, there will be some kind of dinner, probably delivered because I refuse to crawl out from beneath the covers long enough to make something myself - they still haven't turned on the heat. *burrows deeper*

I'm thinking fic until I rally enough wits about me to compose those three remaining papers.

I stayed with three girls over Challenge IV weekend, the only one of whom I knew previously being Schiz. Seriously, it was while the first ever group picture was in my hands and the boys were being pointed out to me that mimesere, who knew exactly nothing about me about twenty minutes before, said, "She's gonna be a Joey/Lance girl." Just like that. Julad was a natural first choice because I knew her from Smallville, my previous fandom, and they knew what to hook me up with after that.

And it hasn't changed a day since. *g*
