What if, less-than-hypothetically, someone were selling my mp3s of JC's show as an audio CD for personal profit?

I made that recording because I knew I couldn't wait the two months until the album officially came out to hear the songs again, an album of which I plan on buying enough copies for a small country. But I wanted to make them available for everyone who wouldn't get the experience and energy of JC live, free to anyone who wanted it. If I'd wanted to, I could've done the eBay thing like so many others, but I never, not for a single moment did it for any kind of glory or profit. And not only is this being done without my permission (not that said individual needs it, as neither one of us owns anything in this scenario) but it's being done for profit, which not only goes against the spirit in which these clips were shared by an extremely generous community of people, but it's something that could well be detrimental in other ways.

Is it ridiculous that I feel as if "my" music has just been reverse-pirated?

Nothing I can do? Didn't think so. *sigh* Live and learn, I suppose.

Babe I saw that and I think from what he said he has the impression that someone else made the clips. I'd email him if you're upset and explain.

I've emailed him and yes, he did credit someone else. However, with a total play time discrepancy of 30 seconds which would be the editing of what talking/whooing there was on the tracks and the obvious lack of A.D.I.D.A.S. plus the quality, I'm sincerely doubting they came from another source.

*nod* I'm just thinking that he was mislead by the person he credited (just because of my dealings with him and how he's been with me). I hope you hear back from him soon with a satisfactory explanation/resolution for you.

I did e-mail him already, and he said he's talking with the person who made them, so we'll see. But I'm not holding out much hope of the recording being pulled, from the response I got.
