Because my every other idle thought of the past month seems to have materialized and now with the discussion of Vegas and marriage that Schiz and I had on the way back from South Beach only to find out that Miss Britney Jean did just that, well, it just seems silly not to.

*makes a note to buy tickets*

Speaking of South Beach. After a morning outing and about two hours and change spent washing the car on my part, we took our sexy asses down to Miami Beach. Had my first adventure in parallel parking then seafood dinner at this lovely little Latin place set around a hotel pool with live music and dancing, then over to Mango's for drinks. Mmm, Midori margarita. There were very scantily clad girls and mostly uncoordinated if enthusiastically ass-shaking boys, but there was sheer leopard print all around so we're not exactly complaining.

A couple of boys in their tricked-out little lowrider were blasting Up Against the Wall as we drove along Ocean Drive, bopping their heads along. Have I mentioned JC was robbed regarding that song not being released as a single? Egregious oversight.

We took the long way back and got a jump on the deja vu that will be this coming July by driving past all the big beach landmarks of CFTC V - the strip of beach where the games were set up, the Bass Museum, Loew's, the Eden Roc, Crobar, etc. Good times, yo.

We also admitted to ourselves that it was just too pretty and stopped in to buy Orlando's GQ at the Hollywood Barnes & Noble. Had to tear myself away from $30 book about the inner machinations of the music industry. The canonwhore dork within me is plotting to overtake all better senses as we speak though.

Have y'all gone to see Peter Pan yet? And just why not? Seriously, so so good.

*takes inventory* Have acquired pirate shirt, going to Disney tomorrow with Schiz, cold tea is okay but soft garlic rolls are better, still not February 10th. Three out of four ain't bad.

Unless things have changed yet again, that's still JC's release date so far as I know. Unless you were being silly, in which case it's the day I had the PTB pencil in a pie on your head. ;) *mwah*

Oh, that's the date now? Okay... *pencils it in* Honestly, I've heard so many I don't know what to expect.

Now, what is it you're planning to do to my head, there?

Oh Mango's! How I miss thee!

Did you do shots out of the skanky scantily clad girls' mouths? Because that was quite possibly my favorite part of the meal we had there. lol.

Sadly, we were not informed that such shenanigans were possible. But what fun!

Would you mind making a little predicition about my life? Maybe something to do with my (non-existant) love life? You know, since they all seem to come true.. :)

And I completely agree with the Peter Pan comment.

I predict that you will come into fortune enough for a hundred men!

God, that movie was so good. And too, too cute. I was overwhelmed by the cute, and then Jeremy Sumpter showed up, and I about died in that avalanche of squee.

the Bass Museum

What is this?

It's an art museum that was right across the street from Schiz's and my hotel for Challenge last year. The sculptures outside were fancy, and we'd hoped to see the rest but they opened too late on Sunday.
