"We're very excited about how well you did on the copy editing test, and could you start tonight?"

You don't understand. This is the largest student-run and one of the most prestigious college newspapers in the country. Daily editions Monday-Friday and this is the dream of every journalism student on the University of Florida campus and they want me! Sundays and Mondays and I get a desk!

I'm Alligator staff!
Starting tonight!
At the office!
At eight!

*hugs onto a fellow journalism dork* Aah, my stylebook. We became good, fast friends, and though it's strictly a working relationship, we keep things interesting.

Oh man, if only. I'd drop everything to do it in a heartbeat. Even just a few dates, get to hang out on the bus or backstage and do a full-length feature for Detours, our entertainment section. *makes a wish* That would be... wow. Yeah, in a very big way. Mostly, I'm just hoping to get some credentials and press passes for Challenge out of this - now that would be something.
