aruanTook a field trip down South yesterday to visit my old Nova haunts. Well, no, not really - I just wanted to see my old Psychology/Philosophy and English teachers, sadly only emerging victorious (and unharrassed by campus security, thanks to wakingup at six in the morning to make it there by 8:40) on one count. Ehnes is doing great, has an entirely new bullheaded credo and getting married in three weeks. Mazel tov to him. Someone forgot to give me the blue moon memo though - Ig chose today of all the never she's absent to be, well, absent. And I spent all of lunch writing antonyms to her FCAT vocabulary list!

walkingshadow's just in time to join her for lunch on Hollywood Beach, which was gorgeous and wow a lot of ocean I realize I really won't be able to live too long without. Continuing our indulgence trip, we swung by Jaxon's - no fewer than three flavors of ice cream and boatloads of toppings because really, if you're gonna have ice cream down here, you're gonna have Jaxon's, and it's gonna be ice cream (except when it's Raspberry Sherbet. Mmm.)
For the record, my falling asleep is no reflection on the person I'm with/the thing I'm doing/where I am. It's entirely genetic from my father's side, interestingly enough inherited seemingly exclusive of the insomnia gene.
Dream: I saved the world. For JC. No, really. On a related note, three cheers for A.D.I.D.A.S. being the next single over Build My World. A good edit and that song will be a staple on Top 40 radio. Whoot!
flytofight! My phone doesn't really work out here and I haven't been on AIM, but we're definitely dropping by Orlando en route home tomorrow, probably around 2 or 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I'll call you when we get on the road and have a real ETA.
Am v. ambivalent about taking the new LJ addiction test, for reasons obvious.
