Ran into a girl from my Editing class at Einstein's yesterday morning after the impromptu cancellation, and we talked for close to an hour and a half. I've never spoken to her before but yeah, that was cool.

Sent off a lot of mail, so everyone to whom I owe things (and that list is shamefully long) ought to be getting them within the next few weeks as I procure more envelopes and shipping packages. My newspaper-as-CD-wrapping skillz aren't as masterful as

plum_evil, so bubble packets it is.

Wrote a psych paper in record time, then got my car and about came to tears over having to pay $1.92 per gallon for gas. Obscenity, thy name is oil prices.

Then out of morbid curiosity, I attended the Disney College Program pitch. Wow. So, basically, they get their custodial and menial labor virtually for free in exchange for the prospect of selling your soul officially once it's done. And while, yes, great opportunity if you're willing to do that kind of work to get there, I'd do a great many things before dealing with park-goers for twelve hours a day, five days a week, for six months. *shudder*

JC is the most frequent non-ordinary word used in my LJ. Heh. Also, I say 'really,' 'about,' and 'time' a lot.

On a related note, I myself spent many an afternoon bass fishing in the lake behind my old house. Wonder if JC baits his own hooks - it's really not something I could see him doing at all. Not that I did. That's what little brothers are for.

My journal is called 'the facts as I editorialize them' because, well, isn't that life? Facts may (or may not, but they remain conventionally accepted as such) be facts, but it's the interpretation and what you do with them that matter.

Friends page is called 'loyal sources' because I'm a big journalism dork.

My username is gjstruthseeker, which dates back all the way to when I first got into (online) fandom through The X-Files, so the 'truthseeker' part is self-explanatory. I was big on objectivism back then, having not yet learned that there is no such thing as truth, only what we make of what we perceive, but 'truthseeker' alone was always taken when I would go to sign up for aliases or e-mail accounts. I added g(wynn) j(ulianne) s(tanton), my online pseudonym (the different parts of which also have their own story), and have used it pretty much for everything since then. It's a bitch to say though, something I only found out at CFTC V when I was introducing myself. *shrug*
