My girls should just be getting into the Warfield/Fillmore/whatever round of musical venues we're on in San Francisco. Eee! So very excited for all of them. Don't tell anyone, but I actually miss waiting in line, the pre-show jitters and distracted conversation during the lull after the opening act.

There are so many museums and restaurants in Paris, I could do nothing but visit two a day and it'd still take a lifetime. *takes deep breaths* I want to see it all but know that's neither feasible nor possible, but I still feel like I'm going to trip over my shoelaces trying.

Today was so productive, my head is still spinning. Finally scored a backpack, found JC's tri-colored brown wristband at Hot Topic as well as some pink shoelaces with black stars, a power converter and good advice about getting onto small buses in Spain at Radio Shack, a map of Paris and a cute salesboy who wished me well at Barnes & Noble, and shamefully caved to the hot pink cowboy hat at Charlotte Russe. It was only $13! And oh so cute! It does favors for my forehead and ginormous melon like I never knew! Also, it's hot pink, and it's a well-established fact that I have no defenses against this.

Played with digital cameras at Brandsmart and you know, 10x zoom is so, so much nicer than anything else, but even the Olympus C-750 is still too bulky to reasonably sneakfit into my purse for concerts. I suppose that's the upshot of being a "hardcore" fan - there's very little that gets in the way of good pictures when you're standing within the first six rows.

Caught the last half of Chamber of Secrets on cable. Will withold my inappropriate dirty!Daniel Radcliffe-centric thoughts and instead say, wow, I love his voice. ""

I should get on seeing Troy. Or you know, not, as it seems. How can it be as bad as everyone says? It foils all natural laws! How can period piece + epic battles + handsome warrior men = bad? Madness!

There are many pretty snappies from JC's performance of Blowin' Me Up from Wango Tango. *loves on the red jacket* I'd made mentions of icons before, so let's.

You never cease to amaze me with your natural cuteness. My black heart tells me I should be sickened, but I am ignoring it muchly.

And hey, you can go to Troy for the same reasons I'm going: pretty Greek fleet and the HORSEY.

Aaaw, thank you. *squeezes you* And I know so much better than to believe your "black heart" comment. *brushes it aside* Promise not to take advantage and poke your underbelly though. :)

Oh, there will be Troy. I'm just gonna make sure I'm feeling one-track minded and am properly sugared up before buying the ticket.

I miss the pre-show anticipation, too. Those were good times. :)

Such great times. And he's not through yet! Though I won't be here for the June shows, I hope everyone who can will carry the torch of madness and continue to report back.

My plane takes off from Miami late next Monday afternoon and lands me in Paris bright and early on Tuesday morning. *meep* I have a really ridiculous amount of things to do before then, so I'm just trying to take things one at a time so as to avoid major freaking.

Paris : you can;t begin to see everything - or even part of everything - but the Rodin museum is *wonderfull* and the Musee du Moyen Age [probably spelt wrong - it's been a while] with the Unicorn tapestries? If you love the idea of the tapistries then go and revel, but if they don't make you thrill, skip the whole museum.

I know, I know, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to. Thanks for the pointers, I'll jot them down. Luckily, most of the museums seem small and very specific, so that'll be a good barometer of things.
