It's 3:47 in the morning. I'm neither packed, nor asleep, nor have lodging for tomorrow night. We'll see what the next couple of days brings. Big thanks to everyone for their well-wishes and advice and offers of hospitality - you've all made me feel so much more calm and capable about this trip. Like I said, I don't know what my access will be like, but I have a digital camera, a tendency for loquaciousness, and plenty of will; ergo, there will be a way. My phone will be disconnected from this Tuesday until my triumphant return on the 14th of July, but I'll post the number for the phone I'll rent in Europe, and should you feel inclined to pay overseas charges, I'd love to hear from you.

By the by, does anyone have a lead on captures of the A.D.I.D.A.S. video? I've seen a couple here and there, but nothing comprehensive.

News Roundup!
- Aaaw, JC has intern-razzing guilt. I want to see what's so surreal about this video shoot, since the whole process is already pretty bizarre in its out-of-sequence, lip-synching ways.
- Antonio Banderas and Justin cried and held hands at the premier of Shrek 2 as Cameron looked on, and really, a story doesn't get much better than that.
- Lance and Jessie on their little surfing safari continue to make me smile. I hope those two are happy. I hope they're all happy, and really, that's all I ask.

Miranda showed me a production still of Harry and Hermione in the snow that made me gasp. It's just such a pretty moment, with the quiet and innocence and the white all around and peaceful. It's so sad to know some of what will happen and fear the conventions that dictate what very well might, and I just want to scoop them both up and never give them back to JKR.

Okay, it's to business with me. *mwah* I miss you already.

Thank you kindly, and oh, believe me, you'll be wanting a retraction on that last sentence before this trip is through. *g*

Make sure you eat decadent things, drink fine wines, and take plenty of pictures to share. And have an absolutely wonderful trip, m'dear!

Oh, Paris was a right exercise in a too-high number of sins. No lack of decadence at all, not with patisseries on every corner and a friend whose mother wrote for a food magazine and whose father is a chef. Pictures and more detailed accounts are coming in the other journal, [livejournal.com profile] avez_vous as soon as the happy delerium of Challenge wears off. *g* Can't wait to see you there!

Have an AWESOME time and bring us all back very sexy, hot French men. If that is not possible, a nice baguette with some brie will do ;)
