Je suis en France, et la vie etait bien.

I think everyone can speak that much French.
Hi! *hugs you all* It's been a challenging, wonderful, good food, new friends, great weather, and Paris-filled few days. I've only been online enough to drop the essential e-mails and have otherwise been roughing it in a hostel, learning the Metro, scouring the city, and moving into my new! French! apartment! with the best roomie ever who declared making it "boy band central" (she's NKOTB and Justin.) We're gonna do just fine.
Heh. LiveJournal in French is interesting to navigate. Oddly, the moods are still in English.
I've not checked the friendslist since Monday morning, though I'm assured that if anything earth-shaking happens in the fandom, I'll be in the loop. Right?
Oh! Phone number: 011.33.1.45.43.90.36 (from within the States)
Should you feel so inclined. And rest assured, that's me on the answering machine.
I've set up a separate journal for the complete chronicle of my trip, so if you'd like to read and see pictures of my life as I experience it in Paris, it's called
avez_vous. Don't worry, other than the title, it'll be in English. There's only an introductory entry there for now, but as soon as I get the stuff I've been diligently writing onto disk, there'll be updates of my entire journey since my arrival Tuesday morning.
And we're off! We get Prisoner of Azkaban on the 2nd of June here, and rest assured Kelsey and I are all over it.
Oh, and GIP. I'm so clever.

Date: June 4th, 2004 05:09 am (UTC)And yes, I'll be there on the twelfth. Gotta make train arrangements and such, but I don't think that'll be too hard. And mmm, more French food. I'm so set to not buy anything and just splurge on meals.
