The only trouble is...

So I was a lazy masochist last night and forgot my disc of HP recs and didn't want to trek back down by the time I was all settled in to read, so I opened one of the few stories I had saved on my laptop - hey, they're there for a reason, right?
And for that I'm paying with the vision of a thirteen-year-old Harry walking in on Voldemort (himself all of sixteen!) and Snape in the kitchen of Riddle Manor. *scrubs brain futilely* And it was epic! Bad alternate history and those are hours I'm never going to get back. I shouldn't be left to read alone.
On a less traumatizing note, I found a conversation between myself and
giddyupnow from October 12, 2002. I'd been in the fandom all of two and a half months at that point, so it was a fun re-read. Schiz was persuading me to come to California for JC and Tony's new/unsigned talent showcase, we thought his doing a "marching band movie" was the most adorably dorky thing ever, and apparently I was already taken by a "hapless fascination" with JC/Lance. And though my loyalties were still firm, "my heart I think belongs to JC." Because I am a fourteen-year-old GIRL at four o'clock in the morning.
In a wave of nostalgia for France, I made a snack of toast with butter and apricot marmalade yesterday afternoon. Mmm. It's been a bread kind of past couple of days, but let's not make a habit of that. Again.
*is flipping channels* Oh my. When did Britters have occasion to wear a gladiator costume? Because, rawr.
I've also been sorting media and would like to make an announcement: I have a new OTP, and it is Justin/Chris Kattan. Bwahaha! On the floor, yo.

My immediate knee-jerk reaction to that is "oh! Pick me! I'll do it!" And then I remember there won't be any icons for still some time yet. I miss Photoshop. Ah, life is hard.

Photoshop is certainly a Good Thing. But if lack of it is your largest problem, then I'd say you've got it pretty all right, my friend.
I owe you replies more thoughtful than my halfhearted attempts at journaling as of late would yield. But they're coming. I think this Harry Potter thing has taken for good this time.
