This afternoon, I had the entire first season of SG:A in my hands. Best Buy put it out five whole days early, which, while good to remember for the future, doesn't serve me at moment present, as walkingshadow had to go and graduate on time and we therefore cannot push up our marathon timetable. So I put it back on the shelf and walked out.

Totally get why people don't say no to drugs. The alternative is so much easier.

Mike actually had the gall to laugh at my subsequent desperation for alcohol. Teasingly, Sci-Fi is doing a tripleheader tonight, and to my unending credit for self-control, everything but Conversion, which was my first episode ever, has been deleted. It occurs to me that there is no logical reason for my being in love with the irredeemably geeky astrophysicist with John walking around, yet the only time I'm really looking up is when Rodney is giving concerned sidelong glances. Heh. In my minimal surfing of LJ this week, I've come across comments on John and his flexibility. I won't deny it's nice, but the sex factor is all with McKay for me. As mentioned, it's not to be comprehended, but there you have it. The scene in John's room, when he won't look at Elizabeth though - total heartbreak.
