-Watched first six episodes of Stargate Atlantis at walkingshadow's last night. She insisted I do so without preconceived notions.

-Provisions in place, it still took me only until his very first line to fall irredeemably in incoherent, absolute love with Rodney McKay. Now understand color bars, possibly making a T-shirt.

-Sheppard and Rodney are so MFEO, it hurts. Keeping it inside, that is. Which one must when there are small children in the room. But jesus.

It should be physically incapacitating, because I know I only managed to breathe because Miranda reminded me a few times in there. Seriously, I about died stifling in the kind of hysterical giggles that JOY causes last night while you were explaining SGA to your uncle. Probably better a reaction than the alternative though, which would've been yelping and squealing and MADNESS the likes of which would've had your parents doubting whether they should have me back later this week. Or ever. But LOVE. Resistance has never been so futile, though frankly, why would you resist it? GOD KNOWS SHEPPARD AND RODNEY AREN'T KTHNXGUH.

Thoroughly irresistable. When I ventured to read my friendslist again some many months ago on an oddly empty moment, it seemed everyone had fallen into the abyss of this show, and I just pouted and kept on with my two regular fandoms. And while there is still very little that's redeeming about the show, when walkingshadow got sucked in, I figured, let's give it a go. Man, I had no idea though. None! All the episodes I'd seen had been plot-centric Season 2 stuff, and the Rodney/Sheppard is more subtle and I don't know, it's just mostly been about Rodney McKay, because the sun rises and sets on him, y'see. But wow, is the show really all about their ONE TRUE LOVE. [goes icon hunting]
