MONDAY
Miles from my house to EPCOT - roughly 60
Times Mike and I rode Mission: Space - 3
Times I was assigned the role of pilot (and thought of John Sheppard, mais oui) - 2
Times we ate in the Biergarten tourist bureau (better known as World Showcase Germany) while being psychoanalyzed by some lone software conference attendee - 1
How much we did not deserve to sit in the front row of El Rio De Tiempo because all we did was sing Casa Bonita under our breath - very
How much the newest ride, Soarin', sucked - "A LOT"
Sitting in the secluded alleyway of World Showcase France in the early afternoon, sharing a baguette and creme brulee while sipping cheap white wine - Priceless

CONCLUSION: The director's cut of the Stargate film is inexorable, but the love in my heart for Daniel Jackson has discovered new territories to which to stake claim, and it set up a wonderful premise for a much more successful TV show. And lo, another way in which everything eventually comes back to Buffy.

TUESDAY
Visits to the office just to check my e-mail because it's the fucking Stone Age all over again without a computer - 2
Minutes spent having a very angry phone conversation with a useless Sony customer service person - approximately 30
Times I mostly unsuccessfully stopped myself from crying about the whole thing - about 5
Conversations with walkingshadow that should've been about her Atlanta adventure that she turned into righteous indignation on my behalf - 1
Amount of fic read - enough to make me smile, because really, John and Rodney

CONCLUSION: Don't be without your computer. You can't handle it at all.

WEDNESDAY
Hours spent repairing said computer, including but not limited to dissecting it on my kitchen counter and wiping out my operating system - 6
New software programs that my tech guy happily shared, including but not limited to Adobe Premier - 5 (which I opened, squealed over, and quickly closed again - I need a tutorial liek woah)
Greasy dinners with co-workers over news philosophy and office gossip - 1
Songs it took to become addicted to Guitar Hero - 0.37 (I PWN More Than A Feeling)
Ways in which I am grateful not to be left-handed because aforementioned game is rendering it cramped and useless like I'm a teenage boy - myriad, especially when I have to use a mouse at work tomorrow

CONCLUSION: Life pulled it out after a thoroughly miserable week. And by life, I mean the people in mine. [love]

Sadly, he just unzipped a program file from an external drive of his and used a crack code to register it. Although if he hadn't, I would've bought something called Adobe Elements, which includes pretty useful versions of both Premier and Photoshop.
