maybe it's the lack of vitamin D from being inside all day

You know, I should get a government job, too. That way I can take those especially nice Friday afternoons off to go for a round of gold (EDIT:golf), like the Lakeland Police Department does, or just decide I want to leave at noon with e-mails from Tuesday still unanswered, like the Florida Department of Transportation. Not to mention bank holidays. Because it's not like my job depends on those officials doing theirs or anything.

Well, technically I am a former editor. And the typos are because I was trying to update v. covertly, as I am at work with my back to a distressing amount of the office.

Regardless, the ribbing was totally in line. And frankly, I'll take a round of anything at this point, preferably straight up.

Oh, so TRUE. It's distressing how much I can't turn that off at all, EVER.

And the next time I see you - by the by, will be in Vancouver on March 22-26 - we will drink until we're stumbling down Sunset, slurring at the man and his oppressive workplace policies to stick it where it'll never ruin our professional happiness again. And then perhaps play a concert at the top of a record store, or at least persuade one of your harem of hot men on guitars to do so.
