my mom, the bravest mom

This is my mom, about to skydive on Thanksgiving in 2004. She's my hero for a thousand reasons, and the thought that her grandchildren may not know her because of brain cancer is unimaginably cruel. I hope that I can be even half the mother she is.

She's completely amazing. She brought my brother and me to the States when we were young kids and made a life for us in impossible circumstances, among other accomplishments. It's been a tough year for her, but she's been all strength and grace, something the rest of us haven't managed. <3
