@catullae started #fakewarcraftthesis on Twitter, and it was pretty much the only thing that went right for me all day.
Mine: "Rattle the Vending Machine: I Went to Dalaran University for This?" about mages, from the painful time of logging in half an hour before a raid to start conjuring food and water (separately, two pieces at a time, for a 40-man raid) to the various "levels" of food (because you need a certain constitution and maturity to handle a Mana Strudel?) In all seriousness, I'd love to read an analysis of the Random Dungeon Finder on player quality of life, from no longer missing an essential ability in a particular boss fight to grouping three plate wearers together, from the impact on world PvP because people are no longer having to travel to dungeons to the slashed raid-readiness time from gearing faster by not having to sit in Trade chat waiting for a group to form (and then doing it all over again when someone drops group mid-dungeon).
But others people were both more amusing and more creative! I would absolutely read any of these:
SusG Can't We All Just Get Along? Managing Expectations in a Multi-Stakeholder Environment
THIS is the reason why raid leads dread killing end-game bosses, because in my experience it splits the raid between those of us who are perfectly happy to have cleared the current tier of content before it was nerfed to irrelevance, and the ones suggesting we not even waste time killing Ragnaros again and focus on heroic modes. Ugh.

FUCK, yes, this this this. The entire citadel is full of the tormented and damned warriors of Azeroth, Alliance and Horde, who were corrupted while trying to do what they thought was right - killing Arthas was actually painful, every time. And this is why Wrath of the Lich King always will be the best expansion.
