But besides that, it's the un-fucking-believable truth.

I had outrageously dark violet nail polish in my bathroom drawer. Wanna hear how I know it's meant to be? It's got sparkles. I think I was fated to go to this convention. Just the thought of what today will bring is keeping my impossibly tired eyes open. That and Hope's newest, In A Season of Calm Weather. Go break your heart and root for me as I venture a thousand miles across the lands to shake the hand of the man who makes us quiver as Lex Luthor.

hey Eva... I was just thinking - do you remember me from elementary school? I remember you clearly, when I was running for Eisenhower VP in 5th grade. I came around to various classes to promote myself and I remember you, but I don't remember whose class you were in. Anyway, I just thought that was interesting, because I suppose that means I've known you longer than anyone else on my friends list, in a weird way.

Gainesville in a month and a half, btw! Looking forward to hanging out with you and Bonnie! B and I have plans to see Peter, Paul, & Mary at the Phillips Center in October. Tickets go on sale in August, right before school starts. You should go with us :)

but I couldn't be sure. Fourth grade was a crazy year. ;) I'm surprised you remember me from then though; I was much more, uhm, vocal in the fifth grade. I was in Mrs. Friedman's class, which was right across from the Art room and next to the computer lab.

Yeah, school soon. It's gonna be a blast though, looking forward here, too. Just a little reluctant to give up this uncurtailed free time.

Awake too late at night, too good a deal on Expedia, the convention center too close to the airport, and I knew I had to go. I don't think it's real even now, in retrospect with the pictures in hand. Narrative to follow. Sorry about the autograph, I didn't get your message until after I got back. But he's such an amazing guy - writer too! Two movie scripts done and third on the way. Big goofy dork I love him so much.

Miss you too girlie! Get your butt down here already so we can tan and chat endlessly and gratuitously!
