the day in repose
Sep. 24th, 2002 04:27 amVortex will be an angstfest and a half. There's so, so, so much makeup sex in their future from the first three episodes alone I can't even fathom what else they'll have time for.
Hot damn. Even having sat in the refrigerator all night those oatmeal peanut butter chip cookies taste heavenly. I need to become a baking folk singer-freelance writer in some mountains somewhere. Who knew college would be this helpful?
Why are you still here when there's Lennie's delightful Buying A Clue you could be reading? Or jenn's brief but too good to have hoped for Metropolis romp snippet to get into?
Love love love to the fabulous girls who run the puppyshelter. This is almost Pre!Sync footage, and I'm simply quivering with the joy.
I resent ignorant people who insist on being judgmental. Get your own fucking lives. Word to Justin, who sang it more eloquently than I can ever manage, much less right now. Sigh. It's already hard to love something (ever notice that it's always other people's interests that seem bizarre, but when you list off Slash and pop music it's perfectly natural?) Don't hassle the good citizenry just because they happen to know me for the person that I am, not the bitch you'd like to believe.
I think I spent thirty minutes on the JJB Board before I wanted to find a way to put my hands permanently over my eyes and ears and scream from the utter inanity. However, for the better or worse news was gleaned beneath the rubble. Read at will, and considering the source, a healthy-sized grain of salt:
-As of September 23, Lance is back in Star City. He won't be on the October flight, but ostensibly has hopes for April.
-JC and Justin may or may not be speaking as a result of Jive's refusal to back JC's efforts at a solo album.
-Joey is an absolute doll to the fans after each RENT show and signs everyone's Playbills.
-Chris placed third in the Michael Jordan Golf Classic. Hope the Bahamas were kind on the tips of his ears because ow, I've been there.
Sigh. Today is better over. Tomorrow holds a test for which studying would be an insult to my intelligence, but then. Then my friends, Miranda and I are going to party like it's 1999.
Quote of the Day:
"[What] she's really worried about [is] Hurricane Eva."
-Jon's dad
::smirk:: I've had my fingers crossed for one ever since we moved to Florida. Early birthday gifts give me a happy.
