sittin' and musin'

aruanIt's cool that people are asking around as to what their recipient's tastes and preferences are for the Secret Santa challenge. I didn't really go to thinking that far because the nature of the chosen pairing is pretty well-defined in my head, and especially within the setting she provided. 1225 words and about two pages' worth of character sketching/background research so far, plus a car ride's worth of scribbles and lots and lots of encouragement.
As for me, I have my sweet spots:
-established relationship stuff gives me happy butterflies. It's so rare to see them make it work in this fandom.
-first time stuff is always fun. I'm all about the seduction, whatever course or form it takes.
-I'm an advocate of sex in public places. I don't think anything or anyone else should matter when they're together. Bathrooms seem to be a recurring theme.
-situational, emphatic cursing. I like them vocally enjoying what they do.
-kissing is good, all kinds really.
That may have been TMI. It's also mercifully incomplete, so quit yer whining. :)
There's more, small details or characterization points, but it's really the author's work on the whole that either charms or disarms me. My story parameters are accomodating enough for sweetness or angst, the first or second scenario, or either popular characterization of the lead boy. Really though, I'm just having a good time writing and can only hope that my Santa is too, because that's what will show in the finished work and that's what'll make it good.
