1. I save the world in my dreams.
2. I love musicals (really though, it's the concept of people randomly bursting into song and dance in the middle of the street) beyond all reason.
3. I don't tend to disclose to people I've just met, but am never selfish and can't keep much of anything from the people I love. Maybe because I feel like I take them for granted too much and want to make up for it by making big, meaningful gestures, which personal revelations are to me.
4. If you've ever been unsettled by something I've disclosed, it's because I trust you and maybe am daring you a little to like me for me.
5. I am intensely sensitive about my writing.
6. I can't draw to save my life, but I can visualize things to a very precise extent of detail in my head.
7. They held me back for another year of kindergarten because I couldn't roll my 'R's and was feared to be socially maladjusted because I didn't play with the kids in my class and drew or built Lego stuff instead.
8. I have a manic/anxiety disorder I developed for no particular reason in the sixth grade. I despise mood-altering drugs and probably wouldn't go on medication for it were I to go to a therapist.
9. I had the maddest desire to be David Bowie's Jareth from Labyrinth for the longest time as a kid.
10. It makes me happy that I wouldn't embarrass myself on JayWalking.
11. I love theme parks, being lost in a world entirely not my own for a day.
12. The features most important to me as far as attraction are lips and hair.
13. I'm deeply passionate about the importance of good kissing technique.
14. I love singing. Loudly. Not that I can, I just do.
15. I love dropping random movie quotes or references to see who'll pick up on it.
16. I might love the beach, but my natural habitat is the concrete jungle.
17. I hate insects with the fiery passion of a thousand suns.
18. I slept through Hurricane Andrew.
19. I've dived the Great Barrier Reef and like Key Largo more.
20. Skiing is my favorite sport in all the world. Dancing and figure skating follow, in that order.
21. I'm the one who gets beef tongue sandwiches at the deli.
22. I like my food spicy. No, I'm serious. Ethnically spicy, yes I'm sure, thanks.
23. I drive a manual shift red Ford Mustang GT convertible. I love it more than mere words can express.
24. I saw both Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson front and center, shoved up against barricades and loved every moment of the survival experience as well as the show.
25. I almost went to an *NSYNC concert at the National Car Rental Center two years ago as a ruse to see what the fuss was all about. Heh.
26. I had to get three stitches after an unfortunate but mostly just mortifying accident maneuvering around some kids at an ice skating rink.
27. I'd rather be hot than cold.
28. I love to fly and travel. When I go someplace new I mostly want to see the city and do what the people do during their everyday lives, like where they shop for groceries or have coffee.
29. I went to Space Camp in the fifth grade and would do anything at all for the opportunity to go up in a shuttle. I can't be prouder and happier for Lance that he went through all the training and hard work to get certified for it.
30. My fears of being ridiculed and failing are almost pathological, blame going squarely to my father.
31. My favorite ice cream concoction is mint chip/raspberry sorbet.
32. I am a fangirl and see nothing wrong with that. I didn't get to be fourteen quite nearly to the fullest extent the first time around and there's no time like the present.
33. I started reading fanfiction at the age of thirteen, deep in the throes of my X-Files obsession. I was on the MSR list almost since its founding and once had aspirations to read through all of the Gossamer Archive.
34. I hate eating food merely for sustenance purposes. I like it good, thanks.
35. I go to Publix and walk up and down the aisles when I'm upset or stressed. It helps me to calm down and think.
36. I used my stint on our high school's paper when I was in the eigth grade to write now mortifyingly personal and thinly-veiled editorials about other people in my class.
37. I used to spend five or six hours easy just talking on the phone most nights from the fourth to the seventh grade. Now people are lucky if I even answer it, much less manage more than perfunctory, plan-making conversation. However, I always answer e-mail and respond to LiveJournal comments. I think people get a better, more coherent version of me in print.
38. My impossible wish is to be able to fly. I'm taking psychology classes and reading books on body language for the telekinesis thing.
39. I'm 5'6" and wish I were three inches taller. I compensate for that by wearing outrageous shoes.
40. The only things I never feel guilt about spending money on are magazines and clothes I fall madly in love with on first try. I have a serious weakness for pants, especially spiffy jeans.
41. I tend to become monomaniacal, but do not have a physical, substance-related correlation to this addictive personality.
42. I despise doctors and their godforsaken offices and the smell and the needles and everything about the goddamned experience.
43. I thought converting our fifth grade gifted portable into a Martian base was the coolest thing ever and had aspirations to be the first human on Mars for a long time afterward.
44. I love scarves and sweaters and coats and gloves and cold weather.
45. I adore glitter on everyone in all its incarnations.
46. I think an awful lot but keep most of it to myself, one because it probably wouldn't make sense if I tried to verbalize it and two, because my head is a wonderfully strange, random place.
47. I have a very selective old man fetish but prefer to actually date boys younger than myself. They keep me from taking things too seriously, I think.
48. I'm from Hungary, a smallish country in Eastern Europe. However, when people ask me where I'm from, I say South Florida without thinking twice. America is what I know and honestly, what I love. And despite all that, they still won't grant me citizenship already. Grr.
49. My favorite video game (series) was, is, and forever will be Mario Brothers. I suck hard at it.
50. I am a New Year's Eve baby. Heh.
51. I am a true masochist at heart.
52. I am not-so-slowly but surely developing a caffeine addiction.
53. Despite having a great English teacher for five years, my writing has serious verb tense, run-on sentence, and occasional grammar issues.
54. I am friendlier and more passionate than you think.
55. I am a compulsive listmaker and would be thoroughly lost without them. I also carry paper and pen with me everywhere I go. Everywhere.
56. I don't have a problem with going to a restaurant and eating by myself. Please don't make pitying faces at me.
57. I have few real friends but love them an intensely large amount and can't quite figure out how I ever got so lucky.
58. I used to hate swearing. I find it sexy now.
59. I want to cultivate a British accent, even though all the Aussie boys told us they find our "American accents" sexy. Heh.
60. I don't have qualms about chopping off my hair or dyeing it. I only do these things in emotional states though (mostly because I don't see paying $35 for a haircut and $50 for a proper dye job) and end up with extremes.
61. I know what love is, thanks, and can still say with all sincerity that there are people I've never met before in my life to whom I attribute said emotion. This surprises and delights me.
62. I live for performing, even though I get stomach-churning stagefright every time.
63. I am fiercely independent and hate asking people for anything.
64. My dream job is to be an entertainment writer/reporter.
65. I am always late, feel intensely guilty about it, but can't seem to quite get it together.
66. I interact with the people on television. I never make more than soft noises like scoffs at the movies and have only made out during one (Cast Away, and really, I had the best time out of the entire sold-out show crowd).
67. I love the theater and will see just about any production.
68. In case of fire, I'd grab Douglas, my RubberMaid bin of newsprint paraphenelia and scrapbooks and hopefully be wearing my red and purple striped sweater, Abercrombie scarf, and H&M skirt.
69. My Yorkie is a snuggler and will tolerate all kinds of being carried around and hugged. This makes me wildly happy.
70. The rate of thought correlation between Miranda and I makes me wonder if certain thoughts have certain wavelengths and if that has anything to do with it.
71. I want to live without fear or guilt and do exactly what I want and say what I mean outright, no exceptions.
72. I now always make my bed and hate seeing it otherwise.
73. Out of all housework, I despise doing laundry and washing dishes the most. Utterly pointless, except for how they're not.
74. I am introverted and have a lot of trouble making small talk.
75. I'm a listener, as much as I tend to miss things sometimes. People seem to want to tell me about their lives, and I'm grateful for the honor every time.
76. I can't tell jokes and most people don't get my humor.
77. I enjoy the experience of seeing famous people in the real world intensely.
78. I sometimes want to be religious because of the traditions and community involved.
79. I will quite readily do just about anything for people whose writing I admire.
80. I got a speeding ticket for going 40 miles per hour over the limit. The tears were not fake when the good officer pulled me over and his first words were: "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't arrest you right now." I have no criminal record and comedy traffic school was fine, so it's mostly reconciled.
81. I long for the day when I have my own apartment but fear the occasional bouts of loneliness.
82. I am horribly insecure but pull off nonchalant well to the casual observer.
83. I tend to have the same sort of casual, conversational style no matter what I'm writing or who I'm talking to. I'm a very organic experience.
84. I love Barnes & Noble but not Borders or libraries.
85. I'm a fast learner except for multiplying decimals, logarithms, and bowling.
86. I got a 6 on my tenth grade Writing Assessment, a 5 on my AP English Literature exam, and an 800 on the SAT II Writing section. I don't brag, but these are definite points of pride for me.
87. I have great luck when I'm desperate for it.
88. I don't think I'm hesistating or being indirect when it takes me twenty minutes to tell someone something in so many words. I'm being thorough and precise.
89. I've always wanted to be able to play a musical instrument. I played the violin way back when, but I bit my nails to painful extents then so it hurt awfully to hold down the strings.
90. I hate change. Like throw myself on the ground and cry loud and hard, pounding my fists and feet the first day of kindergarten. And other instances. I get really depressed and sick when things are out of my control.
91. Sometimes, being alive scares me. Most times, it's miraculous beyond comprehension and I can't be grateful enough for the opportunity.
92. I'm easily amused but rarely truly happy.
93. I love the holiday season. I love the lights strung up all around town. I love the cold weather and the seasonal warm drinks like apple cider and hot chocolate. I love hearing interspersed Christmas music on the radio and love hearing carols specifically.
94. I love meeting fellow fans. There's such a high concentration of deeply cool and wicked intelligent people in fandom.
95. Swashbuckling is sexy. Gunplay is not. Cowboys, however...
96. I like things with a gummy consistency, like Gummi Lifesavers and octopus.
97. I always liked Batman more than Superman. Heh.
98. I root for the villains.
99. I have a horrible procrastination habit, despite the fact that it fucks up my sleep schedule, eating habits, personal well-being, and is completely unnecessary if I even marginally got my act together before the last minute.
100. I demand guarantees to pledge my commitment.

Agreed with [livejournal.com profile] dammitcarl who said that ingenious thing about feeling like a gay boy trapped in a straight girl's body. And now, I'm done disconcerting y'all as well as myself.

Someone should do a Thirty Life Lessons meme. That could be useful.

it made me so very happy to realize that for almost every item on your list, i either knew it before, or was there to share in the experience (i have a really vivid recollection of when we went ice skating that one time and i promised not to tell anyone where you got those three stitches. . . ).

i love you, babe, and i miss you terribly.

That's because I {{{love}}} you, silly girl!

I miss you something awful, too. Got your package yesterday and my mom will tell you, I wiped tears from my eyes as I read the (adorable!) card and turned the notebook over and over in my hands.

I am not nearly as good a friend, and so you shall be receiving your card and gift about a week late. But I just wanted to let you know that the sentiment came at a time when I needed it the most. Thank you for everything, but most of all just for being who you are, and my friend. You're in my heart always.

Ditto for me, except of course for what I'll now forever have to refer to as the Secret Skating Incident. Your cover's blown, but your secret's always safe with me. :)
