I seem to have caused my first fandom kerfuffle. After responding, imnsho, fairly intelligently where needed and sincerely apologizing where it was called for, I am to bed.

For the record: Pet and Georgina rock for putting forth their time, effort, and dedication into making Don We Now Our Gay Apparel happen for the rest of us, and I never meant to indicate that I held them in anything but the highest esteem, no matter how much I may have subjectively disagreed with their decisions.

Sleep now.

Your comments did not strike me as particularly intelligent. They struck me as the furious backpedalling of someone called on her absurdly childish behavior. And by the way, calling fandom fights "kerfuffles" does not make them cute.

Maybe the above comment, yeah, but otherwise I thing I've dealt with the childish comments and other's misunderstandings (i.e. it may have been the author's first time writing) of my opinion with rational discussion, clarification, and consistency. Proper apologies have been made to the admins, who I never, *ever* meant to indicate I blame in any way for their fair and correct decisions. The post was partly my *sujbective* pouting, but I did not ever mean to come off as ungrateful for their hard work. As for my replies, I've stood by the opinions I *did* express in my original post fully, and that's an informed and reasonable argument, not petty foot-stomping.

Where did I ever backpedal that the story in question upset me? The misunderstanding on the part of others about the admins is just that, and I've made proper apologies to the appropriate parties as I have nothing but respect and admiration for all the effort and dedication they've made this challenge happen.

As for "childish behavior," I'm not the one who's resorted to namecalling or insults *anywhere* and especially not my original posts, which stands as it was. I've been willing to reply, explain my views, and have stood by them.

I haven't so far and do not now see this as deserving of "fight" magnitude in importance. People disagreed with what I said, sometimes in error in interpreting my original post, and I think I've been dutifully and sincerely replying to each one.
