at the end of the day, it's your friends that count

People might want to keep that in mind about me the next time they come sniffing around to make trouble.

I think I've spoken to everyone who matters one way or another and have received the reply I've been waiting for, so for the first time ever I think I'm reluctant to refresh my main journal page to see more comments. I'm just so spent with all the effort it took to explain things that were never intended and clarify the issues I did raise. It's been a long day.

However, the thing currently giving me great pleasure is looking at Lance's signature. It's so methodically stylized, like he made the conscious effort to perfect it. Maybe as far back as when he was still in Clinton, perhaps while sitting in some boring class he only attended because he was a good boy and the teacher took roll. It's a lovely signature and oh so him in every way. Goober!

And a quote, because this Chasez kid just keeps ingratiating himself deeper and deeper into my heart:

"Justin called up Lance and said 'Yo, why don't you come down here and check this out and see what you think, maybe just sing with us and see how you like it or whatever.' So he comes down, he starts singing, and we didn't let him go home after that."

*snuggles* Thank you darling. :) It's been fun but you know, I think I can do without causing that much upheaval for a while to come. And I meant the sentiment completely - none of what these people said or probably think of me will last the end of the week, much less the end of the month, but the ones who know me and understand what I was saying, as awkwardly as it may have come out, stand by me and that means everything.
