And this night started out so happily! With The Cure and the happy Bassez and isn't Just Like Heaven such a JC-inspired song? Sigh. You can't choose when you get your heart broken though.

It just came up on my playlist and I thought of JC immediately. That pure kind of joy, how utterly he can make people fall irredeemably in love with him. It's like how the AU Joey in my head is associated with The Drifters' On Broadway.
