If someone ever has a problem with something I am doing, for whatever reason - she disagrees with it fundamentally, it frightens her, it makes her uncomfortable or it stands to change how she sees me in some way - then I hope that she'll firstly hear me out, and secondly, ask me why? instead of simply passing judgment. Maybe I don't like this thing about myself either and am as disconcerted by it as she is; maybe I wasn't even aware of it; or maybe, just maybe, it means something entirely different to me than it does to this other person and that I'm not practically radioactive - as a matter of fact, I could be so outrageously normal that it's gotta find some more outrageous way to compensate for itself.
In conclusion? Don't be afraid to ask questions like RJ or call people out like Jon. Also, tact should be a class. Taught by qualified professionals like Miranda. Who has more class than a whole lot "" of other people put together.
Sigh. It's just that there's usually a reason and extending a little compassion instead of making fun or rolling eyes can make all the difference in the world.
