So after spending twenty-two minutes on the phone with giddyupnow and making her question very sensible decisions regarding passing on the VMAs this year by telling her about the Roseland Ballroom show, my second call was to the venue itself.

Twenty-one and over.

I have never been quite so desperate to be a month (a single month!) older. It would've been so feasible, too: $118 round trip airfare, we're already on the guest list for the awards show, I could've made a couple of phone calls to see about crashing with people or just stayed with a friend in Philly, and I mean, New York!

I'll just be over here, quiet and fetal in my depressing little underage corner of the universe. *sigh* Damn you, Timberlake!

You and stamplet are both so kind for offering and believe me, if it worked anything like that, I'd take you up on it in a heartbeat. Alas, we live in a world rife with injustice (allow me some melodrama for a moment) and I remain, as is always the case before one is twenty-one in this country, born too late. *chants Solo!Club!Tour! to herself*
