Well alright then.

Not having seen the past two weeks' fare, this probably wasn't my episode to dive back in.

Suspicion is fun, kids! Jumping to conclusions even moreso! Smallville was the equivalent of some sort of nefarious Olympic Games of WhoDunnIt tonight. I give it an 8 for technical presentation and about a 2 for plot plausibility.

But hey, what else is new?

Must I discuss the plot? I was paying about half-attention midway through. The way they resketched the events each time was nifty to watch, but like I said, the actual solution was so, so far into the left field of outer space my teeth felt grimy after what I'd been made to swallow. So, to the one resonating point of my viewing experience:

I've got three words for you: "Are we okay?"

But wow was it dark for a while in there. And honestly, the reconciliation came much too easily for the blood they both shed in Lex's office earlier in the episode. Then again, Lex has prior history with letting things ride (not slide) with Clark. Sigh. Love is a many splendored thing indeed.

Yes, I choose not to lay blame with the blatant backpedaling on the writers' part so as to keep the Clark/Lex dynamic on the chummy side until one of the girls gets involved in the inevitable trainwreck of their fates. I fucking hate that word.

And sometimes, I am slow like a thing even more cliched for its slowness than molasses.

And if you're in the mood to take a ride
Then strap on a suit and get inside
If you wanna fly, come and take a ride
Take a space ride with a cowboy, baby
-Space Cowboy, *NSYNC

*That* took *this* (third from the top) for the math to kick in. *shakes head* I mean, I didn't think it was about horses or anything, but you know?

Oh *god* I am beyond pitifully slow. It really is a very good thing I ran out of things to drink about an hour ago and had both feet on the floor when it happened. There's just no telling with these chairs, and I hear Gatorade doesn't play well with electronic equipment.

*snogs JC* Wherever that boy goes, I will follow. No strings, as it were.

I live to serve.

For [livejournal.com profile] silentfire and [livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow, because they're such cool cats, who happen to be enthusiastically reduced to squealing fangirls.

The Orlando Bloom Birthday Tribute by the likewise marvy kids over at [livejournal.com profile] giddyupnow.

Because there's never too much of a good thing, only people who get motion sick.

And for Ri this time, because she remembers and covets still:

The prettiest dork in all the world.

JC is the sweetest diva ever!

Enjoy, ladies.

(Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] raedoro for the caps!)

"I flew over [to New Zealand] just to visit Viggo." He, Mortensen and Henry (Viggo's son), Ian Mckellen, Liv Tyler (who plays Arwen), and members of the crew took a bus to the countryside. After dinner, Bloom and Henry went for a walk and noticed how beautifully the moon was shining on the nearby river. "We ran back and said, 'Everyone's got to see this.' I was having a Viggo moment - running out, getting people to come and check out the moon." Some decided to wade into the stream, but Mortensen suggested the more perilous task of crossing the river. "I'm like, 'Fuck off,' and he says, 'Come on.' So we're barefoot, waist-high in water, walking on these little rocks to get to the other side and I'm doing it because I'm and idiot and I'm following his lead. Because he's an idiot. And because he's amazing. I can't believe how much this is going to make me sound like I'm in love with the guy."

*meeeep!* Boys in love!
