let's turn it up some more

Journalism lab guy is still moodier and of more minds than a PMSing woman about what he considers valid articles, but if you can believe it, when he came around to look at our work, the words "I like this," *pause as he reads further* "This is good." came out of his mouth with regard to something I did.

*is appropriately shocked*

Of course, this only reaffirms my theory that good writing happens in an extremely organic way, like a coherent ramble. All of which just makes my WIP folder that much more dismal. Maybe I'll move it off the desktop.

One of the girls brought us all Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which made me think of Lance, but probably had nothing to do with having Bringin' Da Noise in my head all morning long.

Also, I happily share the fates' love in ushering in the cool weather on the occasion of my birthday week with the rest of North Central Florida. I might swing coffee and track down a pumpkin scone after class. That walking-distance Starbucks was genius, man.
