might have to peel me off the ceiling
Aug. 25th, 2004 05:26 pmNot even the second consecutive morning of a before-seven a.m. phone call from my area office can harsh the high I'm riding just sitting here in my pyjamas, reading fic and eating ice cream after watching an episode of classic Star Trek. A whole two hours all to myself! I'm positively wallowing in luxury.
Communication on the Internet will be a fabulous alternative to the hellish 10-hour week Applied Journalism would've demanded. It means four hours of class and starting next week, my Wednesday afternoons will belong to it, but my schedule is not going to be the vacuum of workandschool that it was looking like yesterday. Onto coming to terms with that Microeconomics class. *bristle*
Also, the schedule shuffle has not infringed on Miranda and I having lunch together three days a week. As opposed to seeing each other maybe twice a week if we were lucky and planned for it last year.
I haven't had a chance to check LiveJournal properly in a week, but the tabs are open and a fannish roundup inevitably forthcoming. Because I know my $0.02 is what you've all been waiting with bated breath for.
Yesterday's lesson: Learn the virtues of cleaning out cookies and cache and using untraceable pseudonyms and e-mail addresses. Thanks, -Your peace of mind
Quote of the Day:
"Computers make excellent and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them. Captain, a starship also runs on loyalty to one man. And nothing can replace it - or him."
